Enrico Calesso conducts the new production of the Verismo Diptych at the Landestheater in Linz. On this occasion he was interviewed by Karin Schütze for the newspaper OÖNachrichten, revealing some details of his concert work and talking in particular about the relationship between philosophy and music.

Enrico Calesso is conducting the new production of "Elektra" at the Mainfranken Theater, for which he supervised a new and special version of the score, basing it on the classic reduzierte Fassung but reintroducing the Sonderinstrumente provided by the original version and recalibrating the string ensemble for the acoustics of the Theaterfabrik Blaue Halle.

In an interview for the German newspaper Main Post with Mathias Wiedemann Enrico Calesso talks about his new post as Music Director of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste and his plans for the near future, starting with the new production of Elektra by Richard Strauss at the Mainfranken Theater.

Appointed Stable Music Director of Teatro Verdi for the next four seasons, Enrico Calesso will assume the position starting Jan. 1, 2024.
