Enrico Calesso appointed music director of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste
Appointed Stable Music Director of Teatro Verdi for the next four seasons, Enrico Calesso will assume the position starting Jan. 1, 2024.
"Our theater had long needed to strengthen its artistic and managerial staff with a figure who could move easily on several fronts and embody the Italian and cosmopolitan spirit of Trieste, bringing a long experience in the world of German-speaking theaters that are very close to us," comments Superintendent Giuliano Polo.
